FRIENDS COMMITTEE ‘FÖRDERKREIS DES MUSEUM BERGGRUEN’
The Friends Committee 'Förderkreis des Museum Berggruen Berlin e.V.' was founded in July 2007 to support the museum in every possible way. The purpose of the committee is to support exhibitions, events and publications financially and intellectually.

MUSEUM BERGGRUEN BERLIN
The Museum Berggruen, belonging to the Prussian heritage Foundation, presents exceptional works of classic modern art, collected by Heinz Berggruen.. Included among the artists are Picasso, Klee, Giacometti and Matisse. It is located in the Western Stueler Building, opposite Charlottenburg Palace and Garden in Berlin and belongs to the Nationalgalerie, Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, presented by its president Hermann Parzinger.

Los Angeles has recently emerged as a global center for Contemporary Art and Artists. Nicolas Berggruen an avid collector and supporter of the Arts has worked together with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) by acquiring important works intended for a long term display at the museum.

The Nicolas Berggruen Charitable Trust Collection is a collection of influential contemporary artists including Bruce Nauman, Charles Ray, Chris Burden, Damien Hirst, Ed Ruscha, Gerhard Richter, Jeff Koons, John Baldessari, Joseph Beuys, Martin Kippenberger, Mike Kelley, Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Paul McCarthy and Sigmar Polke.
